Summary
Above-cap teams (below the first apron) sending out between $7.5M and $29M can receive up to outgoing + $7.5M.
How it works
Flat $7.5M addition for mid-range contracts. Max incoming = outgoing + $7,500,000. This is the most common matching tier for typical trades.
Example
Team sends out $20M. Maximum incoming = $27,500,000. Attempting to acquire a $28M player fails this rule.
