Summary

Using a Trade Exception generated from a sign-and-trade hard-caps the team at the second apron.

How it works

TPEs generated by the sending team in a sign-and-trade carry a second-apron hard-cap trigger when used by the receiving team.

Example

Team A received a TPE from sending Player X in an S&T. When Team A uses that TPE to absorb another player, any post-acquisition salary above $207.8M is ILLEGAL.
