Summary

Receiving a player via sign-and-trade hard-caps the receiving team at the first apron.

How it works

The receiving team in a sign-and-trade is hard-capped at the first apron for the rest of the season. Any subsequent trade that would push them above the first apron is ILLEGAL.

Example

Team A received Player X via S&T in August. Now in March they want to trade for Player Y. If the resulting salary exceeds $195.9M, ILLEGAL.
