Summary

Using the Bi-Annual Exception hard-caps the team at the first apron for the rest of that season.

How it works

If a team has used the BAE in the current season, any trade that would push their post-trade salary above the first apron is ILLEGAL.

Example

A team used the BAE in October and is now at $193M. Acquiring $5M would push them to $198M, above the first apron ($195.9M). ILLEGAL.

Engine behavior

The engine reads team_transaction_flags.used_biannual_exception for the team-season. TRUE + post-trade salary above first apron = HARDCAP-A violation.
